Biography

Elizabeth was born in Marlborough, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony on 21 Mar 1672.[1] She is the third born child and second daughter of Samuel Ward and Sarah Howe.[2] Elizabeth married Nathaniel Hapgood, son of Shadrach Hapgood and Sarah Treadwell, in Marlborough on 14 Aug 1695.[3] They had six (known) children together, all born in Stow, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony: 1) Nathaniel b. abt. 1696; 2) Hezekiah b. 1699; 3) Shadrach b. 6 Nov 1704; 4) Daniel b. abt. 1706; 5) Elizabeth b. in 1708; and 6) Sarah b. in 1710.[4] Elizabeth died in Stow on 5 Nov 1748.[5]
