Birth: 1585 Wiltshire, England Death: Jun. 15, 1659 Sudbury Middlesex County Massachusetts, USA

Elizabeth was born in England about 1585, probably somewhere in Wiltshire. About 1612, she married Walter Haynes, again, probably in Wiltshire. They had at least six children. When the family left for New England in 1638, their oldest daughter, who was already married, stayed in England with her husband. They arrived in Boston and soon went to settle in Watertown for a year. Walter was granted land in the new settlement of Sudbury in 1639. Their family was one of the first to build on the west side of the Sudbury River. Elizabeth died on June 15, 1659, according to Sudbury records.
