My generation knew her as Nanna, and she was my father's mother.

My cousin, Hugh King told me that she had been working for Mrs. Amos at "Burrenbah" at the time my grandfather, Harry Morphett Henderson's first child, Louise was born in Moree (1897-07-01). Sadly, Harry's wife, Louisa (Nicholson) died in childbirth.

Mrs Amos offered Elizabeth to look after the baby, on condition that there be no "hanky-panky', and the suggestion that she and Harry marry. This happened two years later, in 1899.
