About Elizabeth Hood
Elizabeth was the daughter of Simon Goist (1729-1826) and Eva Margaret Baughman (1744-<1842). On 5 April 1791 at Bart, Lancaster, PA, she married George Hood (1763-1846). Their ten children are listed on his memorial page.
In the 1850 census, she is living with her daughter Rebecca Beaver and her family. Her age is given as 82 and next door is her son George and his second wife Anna (Halverick) Hood.
