Elizabeth was the daughter of William E.(dward) & Mary (Ward) Pool(e) (Sr.)
William E. (Sr.) was born in Rowan Co., NC to Edward Pool(e) (Sr.) & Mary (___?___) Pool(e)
Elizabeth had a brother named John Pool(e); he died in 1829 in Grayson Co. VA. See Will Book 1, pg. # 402
Elizabeth was born at Muddy Creek, Rowan Co., NC appox. 20 miles S.W. of present day Salem, Winston-Salem, NC and died in Grayson Co., VA.
She was the wife of Peter Houk (b.10-4-1766) (d. 4-2-1819)
Peter's Will is listed in Grayson Co., VA Will Book 1, pg.#54, with Elizabeth as an “heir”
Peter md. Elizabeth Pool(e) (b.8-31-1771) (d.4-2-1829)
Peter & Elizabeth were md. abt. 1788 in Rowan Co., NC. He was 22 yrs. old, she was 17 yrs. old
They were parents of 4 children together:

1. Mary HOUCK,
2. Claraysa HOUCK,
3. Isaac Houck and
4. Martin Poole

5 Solomon is listed at FaG.
6 Madison Poole alias Martin Houck was born in Rowan Co., NC and is considered the first born child and illegitimate son of Elizabeth Pool(e).
I am looking to confirm Elizabeth was the other of these six children.
