Death
A date of death has not been identified for Elizabeth Jamieson but she probably died on or shortly after 4 July 1785, when her eldest son John paid out £1.10.00: "for a doctor to my mother" [John Reid of Wester Kittochside's Income and Expenses Ledger for 1781-86, held by the Museum of Scottish Rural Life at Wester Kittochside]
Marriage
Elizabeth Jamieson married William Reid of Wester Kittochside. Her marriage contract was signed by all the parties concerned on 4 July 1753. In the contract, Elizabeth Jamieson is described as the lawful daughter of deceased John Jamieson, younger, portioner of Bogton. She agreed to the terms of the contract with the consent of her grandfather, John Jamieson, elder, portioner of Bogton. No record of her marriage booking seems to have survived but she was already married to William Reid when he gave her a liferent secured on one half of the land previously held by his father on the 19 April 1755.
