DEATH & BURIAL

The death of Mrs. Evan Jones, which occurred on Thursday, removes yet another of the old residents of
the town, and one who was well-known and highly esteemed. Mrs. Jones arrived in Adelaide by the sailing vessel, "Ann Holdsberg," Captain Harris, in the year 1854; aftier a voyage of 104 days. She was married in Adelaide, and left there with her husband, the late Evan Jones, in 1871. coming to reside in Warrnambool, where she remained until the time of her death. etc etc etc.

DEATH.
JONES.--On the 14th September, Elizabeth, relict of the late Evan Jones, aged 77 years.
(The funeral will leave her late residence, Grace Avenue, at Four o'clock This Day (Friday) for the
Warrnambool Cemetery).
