Elizabeth "Liz" Rebecca Cannon

[ARTICLE TEXT:] A family reunion recently held near Paul Swamp in Horry county brought together for the first time in many years the family of Mrs. Elizabeth Smart Cannon and the late Cornelius Cannon on the occasion of the eighty-ninth birthday of Mrs. Cannon, who at her advanced age is enjoying good health at her home, where she had lived for more than sixty-five years. Mrs. Cannon €has fifty grandchildren, fifty great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Her nine children are all living. The death of her husband was the first and only death in the family circle. He died in 1923 at the age of seventy-two. Many friends of the family called on the birthday of Mrs. Cannon to extend congratulations to her and renew acquantance with other members of the family, who livfed in other states, but had reunited to be with their mother.
