Elizabeth "Betsy" Maxwell Crisler

Elizabeth"Betsy" Orr was born on 4/16/1826.

Elizabeth "Betsy" Orr was married twice.

Her 1st husband was Jeremiah "Jerry" Maxwell (1816-1863). Two daughters were born to this union:

1. Dicy Jane Maxwell (1848-1858).

2. Emily Florence Maxwell (1858-1911).

Jeremiah Maxwell died of disease on 12/7/1863 and is buried in the Hook Family Cemetery, Alpharetta, GA.

Her 2nd husband was Abel Crisler (1808-1881) and they married in 1869. This was Abel's 2nd marriage as well. His 1st wife Anna Maxwell (1808-1868), the daughter of William Maxwell & Jane E. Higginbotham, left him a large number of children to raise.

Elizabeth "Betsy" Maxwell Crisler died on 8/4/1888 and is buried in the Maxwell Cemetery, Alpharetta, GA.
