Millard County Progress 26 November 1937 FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR LIZZIE McPHERSON

Funeral services were held in Fillmore Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the First Ward Chapel for Mrs Lizzie McPherson, 85, who died here early Tuesday morning at the home of her sister, Mrs James Day, following an illness of two years.

She was born in Sawtry, England, March 7, 1852, and came to America when 17 years old. She lived in Hailey, Idaho with her husband, James Milton McPherson, until his death in 1921, when she moved to Fillmore.

She is survived by two brothers, John S Mitchell, Fillmore, and a sister, Emma A Day, Fillmore.

Bishop Lorenzo Brunson had charge of the funeral services and burial took place in the Fillmore Cemetery under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary.
