Stafford County, Virginia Genealogy Trails-Obituaries:
Departed this life, in this City, on the 30th of March last. Mrs. ELIZABETH MONCURE. aged 64. She was the youngest daughter of the late Judge James Henry and his wife Sarah Henry. She was born at Seaside, in Accomac county. Va., on the 24th of December, 1778. She was married to the late Wm. Moncure at Fleet's Bay, Northumberland county. Va., on the 26th of December, 1798. Her parents were Presbyterians. Her father was from Scotland. Mrs. Moncure became connected with the 1st Presbyterian church of this city. She outlived her husband and all her children, except two sons, both resident in this city. Her mortal remains were deposited with those of her husband and deceased children at Winsor Forest, Stafford co., Va. (14 April 1842 - "Watchman of the South"
