Thomas Shaw (d 1600) married second in Halifax, 15 Dec 1589, Elizabeth Longbothom. After Thomas died, Elizabeth married Richard Moore at Halifax, 15 Apr 1601, and was still living 15 Jul 1624 when she received administration of his intestate estate.

Uncertain Origins===There were two Elizabeth Longbotham's born in Yorkshire. One, the daughter of Brian, in 1560.<ref>"England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975", database, FamilySearch : 18 September 2020), Elsabethe Longbothom, 1560. [https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NGYW-NZC]</ref> The other, the daughter of Humphrey, born in 1565.<ref>England, Births & Baptisms 1538-1975 Transcription $</ref> Neither has been identified as her father in any Shaw genealogy.<ref>M.L. Bierbrier, "The Origin of Abraham Shaw ofDedham", The American Genealogist, April 1981 page 87</ref> However, a birth year of 1560 is unlikely as that would make her 29 at the age of her first marriage,something that was highly unusual in the time period. She is being detached from Brian Longbotham and Alice Mawd.
