Biography

Elizabeth O’Killea b ca 1672, m. widower Silas Sears, as his second wife, on May 1, 1707. "he m. Yar., May 1, 1707, Elizabeth O. Killey, dau. of David and Jane O. K., of Yar."[1]

Silas died in 1732 and it is presumed that she was living at that time. She is mentioned in his will written in 1727. Her death date is unknown. No children are recorded from this marriage.

":His (Silas Sears) will dated July 28, 1727, 'in ill health,' was proved Nov. 29, 1732, by Judah Paddock and Eleazar Sears, Exec", and was witnessed by Peter Thacher, Joseph Hall and Edward Sturges.

It mentions ' wife Elizabeth ; sons Silas, Thomas, Eleazar, and James ; and daus. Sarah Hamlin, Phebe Buck, and Deborah Gray.' The old homestead fell to Eleazar.[2]"
