About Elizabeth Oyler
Elizabeth Oyler, 91, Flora, died suddenly at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 1978, in the emergency room of St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette.
Born Jan. 17. 1887, in Anderson County,Kansas,shewasthe daughter of Joseph and Hester Brubaker Snavely She was married March 30, 1910, in Garden City, Kansas, to Elder John O. Oyler, who died Oct. 22, 1958. She was a member of the Flora Old German Baptist Brethren Church.
Surviving are four sons, Joseph L. Walter F., and Howard M , all of Modesto, Calif., and Chester E. of Sacramento, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Esther) Blocker, of Rt. 1, Cutler, Ruby Miller, Bringhurst, Marie Oyler, at home, and Mrs. Max (Helen) Eikenberry, Rt. 1, Camden; two sisters, 21 grandchildren and 42 greatgrandchildren. One infant son preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Flora Old German Baptist Brethren Church. Officiating will be Home Brethren, and burial will follow in Musselman Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday.
