disputed origins

From https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Bulkeley-7

In his comprehensive treatment of the Bulkeley genealogy, published in 1933, Donald Lines Jacobus put Elizabeth Bulkeley in the section of "Unplaced Families", page 884-5. In the section for Reverend Edward Bulkeley and Lucian Bulkeley and their children, Jacobus does not include a daughter Elizabeth.

Whether she is of Branford, as is suggested in this profile, or of Saybrook, as suggested by Jacobus, neither of these towns are locations where Edward and Lucian Bulkeley lived. There is no evidence, even circumstantial, for them to be her parents.

She is said to have "willfully burned the barn of William Lord, of Saybrook". Elizabeth may have been an apprentice living in Saybrook at that time, in 1654.
