Research Notes ==As related in her book, "Of One Dozen Sassers," Claudia Chitwood Weller states that family tradition held that James Parker, Sr. fathered 22 children, including four sets of twins. Ms. Weller was unable to determineexactly which children of James Parker, Sr. were the actual children of Elizabeth Sasser but did mention that in Elizabeth's 24 Jan 1848 will located in the Probate Records of Screven County, Will Book 2B, page 105, she left all of her estate to her youngest children, Henry and Betty Parker and if those children were to die without issue, the items that were left were to be divided among "my son: Hardy C. Parker, daughters: Clarisy Waters, Eliza Kea, Gemima Newton, Tabitha Griner, Mary Ann Lee and Jane Griner."

While all trees agree that her mother's name was Clarissa, her mother's maiden name is "unproven" Could be Littleton, Bolton, Bragg.....
Elizabeth was born about 1795. She passed away about 1848.
