About 1st wife of Simon Pearson

Simon Pearson was married twice, but the name of his first wife is not known. His second wife was Hannah Ball, widow of Raleigh Travers and daughter of Colonel Joseph Ball, of Epping Forest. His second wife survived him and lived until 1748. Simon Pearson's issue was all by his first marriage:

  • (1) Constantia, born 1714, married Nathaniel Chapman (see Chapman of Stafford);
  • (2) Susanna, born 29 Dec., 1717, married John Alexander 11 Dec., 1743, died 6 Oct., 1788;
  • (3) Thomas, will proved 18 May, 1744, and who had issue;
  • (4) Margaret, born 5 March, 1720, married, 1st, 27 Jan., 1735, William Henry Terrett, 2nd, John West. Her will was proved 10 Jan., 1798.
