John BELT died between 13 May 1697 and 17 Nov. 1698 Anne Arundel Co., MD1 m. Elizabeth1, whose maiden name is not known. She is not the daughter of Richard TYDINGS and wife Charity as early researchers believed, but there is an undetermined relation between the families.

Elizabeth married John Belt (1645-1698) at Anne Arundel County, MD in 1670. She was 14 or 15 years old. He was 25 years old. John was the son of Humphrey Belt (1625-1663) and Anne Graggen Belt (1620-1690).

After the death of her first husband, Elizabeth (-?-) BELT married 25 July 1701 in All Hallow's Parish, Anne Arundel County to John LAMB.3

John LAMB wrote his will in Anne Arundel County on 27 December 1714 and it was proved on 14 June 1715.17
