WILL of ELIZABETH POLHILL, wife of
WILLIAM POLHILL, of Maidstone, gentleman.
Made 26th August 1665. Proved 7th. April 1670.
House in Sandwich wherein my late husband Paul Lukyn lived and died, lands in Deal being part of Pittockes Marsh in tenure of Mrs. Stone, to husband William Polhill for life and after his death to niece Elizabeth Marsh, daughter of brother Richard Marsh of Maidstone and her heirs.
If niece Elizabeth has no heirs then lands go to nephew Henry, second son of brother Richard. If he has no heirs, then to nephew James Marsh, third son of Richard.
Whoever has land is to pay 20/- within twelve months of death of husband William to nephews Henry and John Foach, sons of sister Judith Foach.
