Elizabeth R Parrish was born on July 9, 1877 in Georgia, daughter of Emmitt "Mike" A Parrish (1851-1913) and Harriet Ann (Proctor) Parrish (1851-1940). She was known as "Lizzie".

On December 12, 1900 (c), Elizabeth R Parrish married McCrone "M. G. or Dock" Bland in Bulloch County, GA. In 1902, they had a daughter, Naomi Bland. In 1930, her husband preceded her in death. They had been married 32 years. In 1943, married daughter, Naomi (Bland) Mikell, passed away. In time, Lizzie remarried twice. First, she married John L Eslinger and then, she married William N. Adams.

On Saturday, January 29, 1949, Elizabeth (Parrish) Bland Eslinger Adams, age 71, better known to Brooklet people as Mrs. Dock Bland (a), passed away in Georgia. Funeral service was on Sunday, Jan. 30, with burial in the Brooklet Cemetery, Brooklet, Bulloch County, Georgia.

On January 11, 1893, Elizabeth married McCrone "M. G." Bland in Bulloch County, GA, performed by Justice of the Peace, Samuel Harville. On October 24, 1893 (a), they had a son, Foy Bland.
