About Elizabeth Roberts

"Elizabeth Trammell Roberts was born on February 17, 1672, in Stafford, Virginia to Thomas and Alice Trammell. She had three sons and two daughters with Capt. John Roberts Jr. between 1695 and 1707.

We assume she was buried in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, where she died. Further, she was not mentioned in her husband's will in 1724 so we know she predeceased him.

Her husband, John Roberts, was born in Spotsylvania County, Virginia:

"Capt. John Roberts, Jr. was born in 1658 in Spotsylvania, Virginia to John and Gainor Roberts. He had three sons and two daughters with wife, Elizabeth Trammell between 1695 and 1707. He died on September 10, 1724, in his hometown, at the age of 66, and was buried in Cornwall."[3]

John Roberts was probably buried in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, where he died and not Cornwall, England.
