~Ormerod's History of the County Palatine and City of Chester, vol. I, p. 713, Margaret is given as a daughter of John Savage and Elenaor de Bereton. Ormerod states that she first married John Maxfeld and later married Randle Manwaring of Over-Peover, but that further proof is needed. 713
