VI. Harvey G. Shaddinger, bn. Jan. 7, 1843. Mrd. Elizabeth Ann Fretz, Mar. 18, 1866. P. O., Dublin, Pa. He enlisted in Co. A. 104 Penna. Vol., Sept. 6, 1861, for three years, and served in the following engagements: Lee's Mills, Williamsburg, Chickahominy, Seven Pines, Fair Oaks, Bottom Bridge, White Oak Swamp, Carter's Hill, James' Island, Siege of Fort Wagner, and Siege of Charleston. He was appointed Corporal, April 1, 1863. He was discharged on expiration of enlistment Sept. 30, 1864, and re-enlisted as Sergeant in Co. I., 213 Pa. Vol., Feb. 16, 1865, for one year, or during the war, and was discharged at the close of the war Nov. 18, 1865. Menn.
