Robert Sheppard of Tenterden in Kent, son of Robert Sheppard and Agnes Byrchett, husband of Elizebeth James (daughter of Martin James and Thomasine Croppinger) and father of

1. Martin, d,y.
2. Robert, b. Feb 1604 in Wyck Rissington, married Mary Priscilla Green
3. Thomazin.[1], d.y.

Robert Sheppard married Elizabeth Jeames at Hackington, St Stephen, Kent on 9 March 1584.[2]

Robert's will written as Robert Shephard or Shepard esquire of Mereworth, Kent was probated on 14 May 1621:-[3]

• property be divided by Sir Thomas Roberts and his son Walter Roberts into 6 pars for the maintenance of my son George and Daughter Ann
