About Elizabeth Ward
Elizabeth was born at Woodlawn and lived there the greater part of her life. She was known in the family as Sister Eliza or Aunt Eliza. She was much attached to St Stephen's Church. The baptismal fount which has been in use for a number of years was placed in the church in her memory. She is buried in the Ward plot in St Stephen's churchyard.
