POSSIBLY the Oliver Warneford, Gentleman of Hampshire who broke out of prison c 1586 and made vocal recusant speeches. If so, he was of Limborne, Hampshire and was dead by 1594 when his 12 year old son John was interrogated. At the time, Oliver's widow Elizabeth (John's mother) was in prison in London Fleet for recusancy. Oliver seems to have been of Stakes, Havant, Hampshire
