He was born about 1411 (aged 30 in 1441) They had one son, Robert, Esq. He married (2nd) JANE CLIFFORD, daughter of Robert Clifford, Knt. They allegedly had one daughter, Penelope (wife of William Abrahal). In 1457 he was sued in a plea of debt by William Forster, Citizen and tailor of London. The same year he sued John Cheyne and his wife, Perin, in a plea of land. EUSTACE WHITNEY, Esq., died 1481/1. ....

He married (1st) CONSTANCE AUDLEY (or TUCHET), daughter of James Tuchet (or Audley), Knt., 5th Lord Audley (descendant of King John), by his 2nd wife, Eleanor, illegitimate daughter of Edmund Holand, K.G., 4th Earl of Kent [see TUCHET 12 for her ancestry]. They had two daughters, Joan and Eleanor (wife of Thomas Vaughan, Knt., of Bredwardine). He married (2nd) ELIZABETH VAUGHAN, daughter of Thomas Vaughan, of Hergest, Herefordshire, by Ellen Gethin, daughter of Dafydd ap Cadwgan ap Phylip Dorddu. They had four sons, James, Esq., John, Hugh, and Robert, and three daughters, Eleanor (wife of John Puleston), Sibyl (wife of Roger ap Richard), and Elizabeth (wife of John Pye). He was attainted as a Yorkist by the Lancastrian Parliament in 1459. ROBERT WHITNEY, Esq., died shortly before 6 Oct. 1494. His widow Elizabeth, was living 4 May 1525. .... ____________________

• He married, say 1490, Blanche Milbourne,[4] daughter and coheiress of Simon and Jane (Baskerville) Milbourne.[5] She was born say 1468, Tillington, Herefordshire,[6] and died after 24 March 1547/48.[7] She married secondly, as his second wife, Sir William Herbert,[8] of Troy, Monmouthshire, Wales, illegitimate son of William Herbert, 1st Earl of Pembroke (1423-1469) (Eighth Creation) and mistress Frond verch Hoesgyn,[9] born about 1448-1452[10]; died 1524.[11] Lady Blanche Herbert of Troy was eulogized by the Welsh bard Lewys Morgannwg.
