Elizabeth's dates of birth and death are from Virginia Wood Alexander and William C. Whitten Jr., "Whitten and Allied Families" (Second Edition, 1984), page 173.
The same book, citing J.H. Campbell, "Georgia Baptists: Historical and Biographical" (1874), pages 420-421, says James and Elizabeth Whitten moved from South Carolina to Hall County, Georgia in the winter of 1825-1826. There, James, an ordained minister, became pastor of Yellow Creek Baptist Church. And there Elizabeth died in early 1835. One must assume she is buried in Hall County, either in an unmarked grave, or in one yet to be discovered.
