Ella C Sannes

Ella passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2000 at first Care Nursing Home in Fosston, Minnesota at the age of 92 years, 10 months and 16 days. Ella is survived by her sons, Gene and his wife Helen of Blaine, Minnesota, Glenn of Fosston and one daughter, Delores Lind and her husband Robert of Battle Lake, Minnesota; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and many neices, nephews and cousins, also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband Grundy; her parents; one son Richard; sisters, Ruth and Edith; and brothers, Frank, Raymond and Harry Short.

The funeral services were held Monday, September 18 2000 at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Elton Jorde officating and reader, Joyce Brinkman. Pianist and soloist was neice, Linda Short who sang "In the Garden", "How Great Thou Art" and "The Lord's Prayer" at graveside. Congregational hymns were "Children of the Heavenly Father" and "Amazing Grace". Attendeding organizations were McIntosh V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #6891; special friends, Agnes Vasend, Gertrude Johnson and Irene Domier. Honary pallbearers were Robert and Donald Landsverk, Lynn Vennes, Gordon Short, Ben Ramse, Kenneth Jore, and Joel Vennes. Pallbearers were grandsons Gary and Roger Lind and Darryl Sannes; neighbors George Flaskerud, Marvin Lee and Walter Pederson. Internment at Our Savior's Lutheran Cemetery , McIntosh, Minnesota.
