About Ella Clair Harrington
These memories are from her youngest daughter, Gabrielle, as she remembers her beautiful and kind mother. My Mom played the violin and was a bookkeeper before she was married. She was very close to her sister, Lily, who lived on the same block. Her father, Edward Harrington, lived with her sister Lily and Lily's daughters, Mary and Eileen Haggarty. As a young woman, before marriage, she bought property in Staten Island and so did Lily. I will always remember her sweet smile and beautiful face.
