Obituary:
EDGERTON – Mrs. Melvin Nettum, 67, Rte. 3, Busseyville, died Sunday morning in Edgerton Community Hospital after a long illness. The former Ella Senore Lokken was born March 25, 1897, in Dane County, the daughter of Martin and Isabella Olia Lokken, and was married in the family home in the Town of Sumner March 7, 1918, to Melvin Nettum. She was a member of East Koshkonong Lutheran Church. Survivors are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Robert George, Beloit, Mrs. Harry Carlson, Edgerton, and Mrs. Norman Evenson, Cambridge; 12 grandchildren; a brother, Edmund Lokken, of Fort Atkinson; and two sisters, Mrs. Herman Dahlby, Stoughton, and Mrs. Robert Turner, Evansville. A brother and two sisters predeceased her. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the East Koshkonong Church, the Rev. Merrill Herder officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Tellefson-Bruni Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
