Ellen Brereton was the daughter of Sir William Brereton and Anne Booth.2 She married, secondly, Laurence Winnington.1 She married, firstly, John Carington, son of John Carington, on 28 February 1550.1 She died in 1612, without issue.1
Her married name became Winnington.1 From 28 February 1550, her married name became Carington.
