Ellen Lee Flenar

Ellen Lee Flenar, 87, of rural Mentone, Indiana passed at 12:37 am, Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Visiting Nurses and Hospice Home of Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

She was born on Nov. 22, 1929 in Plymouth, Indiana to Forrest and Goldie (Teel) Kesler.

She married on July 26, 1947 in Mentone, Indiana to Robert D. Flenar, who passed March 9, 2011.

Ellen was a wonderful homemaker and loved her family and taking care of her cat, Otis. She also worked at various jobs outside the home.

She was a 1947 graduate of Mentone High School. She formerly attended the Mentone Church of Christ.

Survivors: Daughters – Diane and (Lanny) Idle – South Whitley, IN, Lynn and (Roger) Bucher – Ft. Wayne, IN, Son – Dan and (Sherry) Flenar – Columbia City, IN, Daughter-in-law – Valerie Flenar – Rochester, IN, 14 Grandchildren, 42 Great Grandchildren
