About Ellen Green
Ann Gillet embroidered a 'sampler' in 1848 when she was 7 years old. It reads : If to afflict me be his will I'll bear it With submission still a tender father sure he proves and but corrects because he loves Ann Gillet aged 7.

This was passed to her grand-daughter Mary Brennan (nee Hall), then to Michael Brennan her great-grandson, who passed it to Mark Hurst her great-great-grandson.
