About Elma Juanita Isaacs
Juanita Isaacs, 81, died at 1 p.m. April 5, 2007, at a family home in Morley.
Born Dec. 29, 1925, in Riverside, CA, daughter of the late Raymond and Florence Barker Emerson Sr., she was a machine operator for 13 years at Sports Specialty Shoe Co. in Chaffee and worked 11 years at Burch Foods in Sikeston. She was a member of Morley Baptist Church.
On Oct. 26, 1942, she married Fearl U. Isaacs who preceded her in death on April 3, 1997.
One brother, Raymond Emerson Jr.; and one sister, Anita Freed, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: three sons, Larry Isaacs, Terry Isaacs and Rick Isaacs; one daughter, Carol Bumgardaner; two brothers, Kenneth Emerson and Ray Gene Emerson; two sisters, Debbie Scaggs and Becky Rodgers; and nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.
Services were conducted at Morley Baptist Church with the Rev. Rodney Davis officiating.
Burial followed in the New Morley Cemetery.
Pallbearers were her grandchildren: Scott Bumgardaner, Chris Bumgardaner, Stephen Isaacs, Brandon Isaacs, Matt Isaacs, Jason Isaacs, Tracy Pettit, Rachel Isaacs and Amanda Isaacs.
