Elmer James Eubank was born March 24, 1904 in Paris, Lamar County, Texas, son of Augustus "Gus" Nathaniel Eubank and Ada Jefferson (Johnson) Eubank.

He married Aileen C. Edwards. In 1935, they had a daughter, Patsy Ann Eubank.

In 1935, Elmer, age 32, and his family were living in Brownsville, Cameron County, Texas. He had been working for 2 1/2 years as a salesman for Swift & Co.

On May 27, 1989, Elmer J. Eubank, age 85, died in Lubbock, Lubbock County, TX.
