About Elsie Adina Ruthtilda Carlson
Mrs. Albin Carlson, 84, of Alcester, died Monday, February 10, 1986 in the nursing home in Alcester after a long illness.
Mrs. Carlson, the former Elsie Adina Ruthtilda Swanson, was born August 9, 1901 in Chicago to Alfred and Amanda Sand Swanson. She married Albin Carlson April 4, 1923, in Union County, SD. They farmed in Union county until moving to Morningside Manor in Alcester in April 1979. He died in July 1979.
Mrs. Carlson was a member of American Lutheran Church Women. Survivors include four brothers, Stanley of Alcester, Arthur of Sioux City, and Herbert and Leonard Swanson, both of Akron.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albin in 1979, one brother, Walter and one sister, Antoinetta.
