The eldest daughter of four girls, Mom (Elsie) was all of her life, the Peacemaker, the most gentle and non-combative of the Fab Four Ropinski girls. She was fun, she loved music, classical and she played the piano.

Kamish of Katy; Howard Kamish (and Dr. Jacque Young) of Glenwood, Iowa; Steven (and Sidney) Weintraub of Fremont; Kathryn (and Robert) Gilliam of Katy; and Salisa (and Captain Patrick) Poon of Sanford, N.C. Great-grandmother of Jessica Kamish, Benjamin Gilliam, Whitney Kamish, Joel Weintraub, Zachary Gilliam, and the late Joshua Weintraub. Sister of Bertha Hillman, Evelyne Prosan and Cecile Schuman. An aunt to many nieces and nephews. Attended Chicago Music College. Retired at age 80 from Stanford Saks Fifth Avenue. A private service was held. Contributions to Jewish Home for the Aged, 302 Silver Ave., S.F., CA 94112.
