Elsie Gordon G Bezanson

BEZANSON (Levy), Elsie Gordon - formerly of 3 Woodbury Dr., Halifax, died February 1, 1997, in Armview Estates. Born in Dartmouth, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Agnes (Coutler) Levy. She was a life member of Halifax Chapter 7, Order of the Eastern Star and a life member of the Ladies Conservative Association. She was also a member of St. Peter's Anglican Church, Birch Cove. Surviving are brother, Edgar (Budd), St. Catharines, Ont.; children, Mrs. Anne Erwin, Toronto; Mrs. Agnes Langille, Markham, Ont.; Gordon, Halifax; Ernest, St. Margarets Bay; nine grandchildren; three step-grandsons; 13 great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon A.; sisters, Olive MacKay, Helen Bowser, Dorothy Gay; brothers, John, Fred, Harold, Allan. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. Peter's Anglican Church, Birch Cove, Rev. Tim Appleton officiating. Burial in Hammonds Plains Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Peter's Anglican Church, Hammonds Plains Baptist Church or to any charity.
