ELVA VIOLET BURLESON CORNISH
Violet was born 3 April 1913 in Humboldt, Arizona, the daughter of Elve Lessard Breckenridge and Joseph L. Burleson.
She and her husband, Keith, a grademan with the Yavapai County Highway Department, lived, in the early 1950s at 301 Navajo Drive.
Violet was the owner and proprietor of Maggie's Steak House on 504 E. Sheldon Street. Violet had two daughters: Dorothy June Lorance and Margaret Frances Loman. She was a Christian Scientist.
Violet died in Prescott and was interred at Mountain View Cemetery on 19 September 1956. Her mother, Elva Breckenridge, her grandmother Virginia Lessard and four great-aunts are also represented in the Rose Garden.
