Elvi Stevenson

Ada (Elvi) Elvera (nee Neva)Passed away peacefully at the Hampton Terrace in Burlington on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late William Thomas (Bill) and loving mother of Neva, Donna, Spencer, Gary, Craig and Faye. Proud grandmother of Elvira, Jacques-Emile (Jack), Liam, Colin and Steven, step-grandmother of Gilbert and Michael Johnstone and step-great grandmother of Riley, Camryn, Morgan, Lily and Jolene. Dear mother in-law of Fred Johnstone, Anne-Marie Parent, Liz DiMeo, Candace Cridge and Dave Wales. The last of the large Neva family who grew up in Nolalu, Ontario, Aunt Elvi will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff at Hampton Terrace for their compassionate care. Cremation has already taken place. Memorial visitation in celebration of Elvi's life will take place from the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton, Ontario on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 2 p.m. up until memorial service time at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
