BOAZ – Funeral services for Elzie Clyde Bailey, 69, of Rt. 3, Albertville who died at 2 a.m. Wednesday at the local hospital, where to be held today at 1 p.m. at the Carr Funeral Chapel with the Rev. J. Holland Thomas officiating. Burial was to be in Hillcrest Cemetery with Carr-Brown Service Mortuary directing. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Ruth Hunt Bailey; two daughters, Mrs. H. M. Tull, New Orleans, La.; Mrs. W. O. Sarrett, Knoxville, Tenn.; a son, Don Bailey, Athens; three sisters, Mrs. Robert Layman, Mrs. Charles Armstrong, both of Knoxville, and Mrs. J. I. gray, Anniston; two brothers, Roth and Jack Bailey both of Gadsden; and eight grandchildren. Mr. Bailey was a native of Georgia, a retired manufacturing employee, a member of the First Baptist Church, and a veteran of World War I.
