'The Sabbath Recorder', Vol 40, No 36, p 8, Sep. 4, 1884. In Jackson Centre, Ohio, Aug. 19, 1884, Mrs. Emeline, wife of Davis Babcock, aged 60 years, 2 months, and 8 days. Sister Babcock made a profession of religion when young, was baptized by Eld. L. A. Davis, and joined in the organization of the Jackson Seventh day Baptist Church, of which she remained a worthy member until removed by death. Having her reason to the last she died with peace, in the faith of Jesus. 'How blest the righteous when they die.' J. L. H.
