About Emil Tugendhat
http://www.tugendhat.eu/en/emil-tugendhat.html
In 1896, Emil worked as a director in the Max Kohn textile factory and he became a partner in 1908. Hans Tugendhat also became a partner. After Richard Kohn, the son of Max Kohn left the company in 1919, it became the exclusive property of the Tugendhat family. Hans Tugendhat and his brother Friedrich took over the management and proxy powers were given to Robert in 1929. In 1942, the company was seized by the Nazis. In 1917, Emil was given proxy powers for S. Feldhendler & Co, founded by Benno Tugendhat and Sigmund Feldhendler. This company dealt in recycled wool and ran a spinning mill. From 1923 to 1940 when the Gestapo confiscated the company, Fritz Tugendhat was a public partner along with Hans Tugendhat. From 1929, Robert Tugendhat was the business manager.
