About Emilio Abello
Emilio Abello was a Filipino lawyer, diplomat and politician. He served as Secretary to the President from May 30, 1946 to July 4, 1946; Chief of the Executive Office from July 4, 1946 to September 3, 1947; Executive Secretary from February 26, 1948 to April 17, 1948; and Philippine Ambassador to the United States from February 1962 to September 1962. He represented Region IV at the Interim Batasang Pambansa from June 12, 1978 to June 5, 1984.
