About Emily Dow Partridge Young, Plural Wife of Brigham Young
Emily Dow Partridge Smith Young (1824-1899) was born in Painsville, Ohio the daughter of Edward Partridge Sr. and Lydia Clisbee.
She married Mormon prophet Joseph Smith Jr. on 11 May 1843. A few months after the death of Joseph Smith she then married Brigham Young in his seventh marriage.
Brigham Young and Emily had 7 children:
