Emily was the dauther of James and Eliza Green Knight. She married Washington Lafayette Jolley. They had 10 children: Sarah Eliza, Mary Emily,Washington Lafayette Jr., Melvina Arthusa,Reuben James,Lula Alvira,William Berry, Joseph Henry, Sareptia Caroline,and Nellie Adeline. She and her husband and family was called by Brigham Young to help settle the city and county of Washington, Washinton, Utah were she remained until she died.
