Estimated date of Marriage of Emily & Amos David is based on their age, and age of son Donald, with knowledge from Donald that Donald was born prior to the marriage. Good Est of year of marriage (FIND CERT?).

Donald R Carlson, was born 1929 in Chicago IL, to Amos David Carlson (age 21) and Emily Mikulicic (age 19)... married for only a short time. I then traced Amos David Carlson ~1935 and Agnes West both living in Chicago at the same time (source: 1940 census) (is this when & where they met?). Then Amos David & Agnes were married in April 1936 in Crystal Falls, MI, ( source: marriage certificate) and David Lee was born in Sept 1936. Donald was raised by Rudolph and Hilda Mikulicic. Emily Mikulicic also lived in the home. Donald said he saw Emily more as an "older sister" rather than a mother figure. Grandma Hilda Mikulicic always said of Amos David, that "David was a nice man"
