Mrs. Emma Fasse
Mrs. Emma Fasse, nee Berlin of 2543 N. Bernard st., Chicago, passed away at an Evanston hospital Wednesday afternoon, March 8, at the age of 72 years, 2 months and 7 days.
Mrs. Fasse was born January 1, 1867 at Plum Grove. On January 12, 1893 she was united in marriage to Mrs. George Fasse at the Fairfield Lutheran church. This couple made their home on their farm near Fairfield church, Ela township.
Mr. Fasse passed away in 1922 and in December, 1925, Mrs. Fasse and her family went to Chicago. She leaves to mourn her departure five living children, George, Henry, Ida, August, and Walter; one daughter-in-law; one son-in-law and six grandchildren; one sister-in-law. Two children, Mrs. Emma Hapke, age 29 and Edwin Fasse, age 24, preceded their mother in death.
Funeral services were last Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. at her residence in Chicago and at 2:45 p.m. at the Fairfield Lutheran church, Rev. Gerth officiating.
