Emma Hawkins was born in 1861, in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. She married William Alpius Keane in 1889. They were the parents of at least 1 son. She died on 2 April 1948, in Fitzroy, Victoria, Australia, at the age of 87, and was buried in Fawkner, Victoria, Australia.
